XCM Main Functionality

Web Tree menu: XCM lets you modify your Web tree menu, making possible the creation of new menus and sections so your Web can grow as your company needs it.

Content types: XCM lets you dynamically create different kind of contents, and management and publishing tools for that content will be created automatically. Those kind of contents are sorted by fields, making content insertion easier for the user.
WYSIWYG editor: It includes a WYSIWYG editor to make content edition in HTML format, easier for the user.
Content preview: XCM lets you preview all content changes before they're permanent. This way you can safely make as many tests as you wish, and this won't damage the published version.
Content importation/exportation: The manager allows importation and exportation of different kind of contents, to make data reuse faster.
Attached files: XCM allows to attach files to those contents where that possibility has been enabled.
Syndication: It syndicates contents to make access to last updates easier.
Multi-language: XCM supports multi-language content edition.
Search engine: XCM includes a powerful search engine to let users find anything they want. You'll be able to search not just from Web contents, but from published documents as well (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF , etc.).
Performance: XCM includes a powerful cache system that makes your Web faster, in spite of the need to manage a large number of dynamic information..

Content version: You'll be able to create multiple versions of one content and to fast and safely publish the suitable one at each moment.
Content expiration date: If you want to make sure you'll never have old contents in your Web, assign an expiration date from when they won't appear as published any more.
Automatic publishing contents: From XCM you can set different kind of contents as auto-publishing in one or several sections, so it'll make these contents publication flow more simple.
Publishing flow: XCM implements a publication flow that lets you assign content creation, validation and publication to different people.
Security: Thanks to XCM security infrastructure, based on roles and groups, is easy to create sections or contents on your Website, accessible just by some kind of users.
